HSOB RFC aka the Polar Bears is one of the biggest and most successful clubs in Christchurch and New Zealand. We have produced 30 All Blacks and 1 of them is back to coach at the club for the 2013 season. Nathan Mauger will be taking up the head coach responsibility as well as filling the rugby directors role for the club. We are also lucky enough to have have other former All Balcks Aaron Mauger, Rueben Thorne Richard Loe and Graeme Bachop involved as resource coaches which are huge assets and are available to all teams.
We cater for all playing abilities from Division One to Colts Premier to Social rugby to Womens rugby. We have a team in every grade and are extremely competitive.
