CLUB HIRE AND FUNCTIONS
The club rooms of the High School Old Boys' RFC are available for hiring by both members of the club and the public. With two separate function rooms, the club rooms can cater for various sized groups for Corporate functions, dances, 21st celebrations, receptions or other groups needing comfortable and modern surroundings.
The club can provide catering offering a range of menus, from full dinners through to snacks and nibbles. All dietary specifications can be accommodated.
Te Kura Lounge
The main bar can cater for all sized groups with various seating and/or non-seating arrangements. 120 (approx) for a full sit down meal or 250+ for a function.
During the day, it has abundant natural light and is fully lit during the evening hours. There is a welcoming gas fire which can be used at anytime of the year. The main bar, as is all of the HSOB RFC, is a non-smoking area, but sets of French doors open to a courtyard where smoking is permitted.
The Centurions Room
The Centurions Room is a more intimate room suitable for the small to medium sized groups. It has the ambience of an old fashioned club, with rugby memorabilia and an open fire. If you wish to have a fire during your function, please bring suitable wood to burn.
It is a non-smoking area, but access to the courtyard is through French doors leading onto the covered veranda. Full bar and kitchen facilities can be utilised in this room.
Costs
It costs $250 to hire a room plus a $100 refundable bond. All damages and excess cleaning costs must be paid for by the hirer.
